Streusel Cream Peach Pie

Palisade Peach Streusel Cream PiePalisade Peach Streusel Cream Pie

1-9in pie shell
4 c. Palisade Peaches (quartered and peeled. 8-10 peaches)
1/2 c. sugar
1/2 t. nutmeg
1 egg
2 T.  cream
1/4 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. Gold Medal flour
1/4 c. butter (softened)

1. Place pie shell in a pie pan.
2. Arrange Palisade Peaches in the pie shell.
3. Sprinkle sugar and nutmeg over the peaches.
4. In a separate bowl, beat the egg and cream together. Pour over the peaches.
5. In a separate bowl, mix the brown sugar, flour and butter together until crumbly.
6. Sprinkle crumb mixture evenly over the top of the pie.
7. Bake at 425 degrees for 35-45 minutes, until browned

Serve warm.  For an elegant garnish, add whipped ice cream or cultured sour cream.
